FLAG LIEUTENANT was forced wide by ESTHER GRINDELL when entering the stretch, but finished fast and got up to win in the last few strides. IIEN1TA saved ground on the turn for home and came gamely on the inside through the stretch. ESTHER RINDELL set a good pace to the last eighth and finished gamely. COCK O THE ROOST set the early pace and came again after racing, wide into the stretch and finished gamely. FEODOR saved ground when entering the stretch and raced into the lead, but tired in the last sixteenth. JOHN JOSEPH showed speed, but was cut off repeatedly. GORDON SHAW began poorly.
