BLUE BONNETS NOTES MONTREAL, QUE, Sept. 17. Several stables shipped from here to Havre De. Grace at the conclusion of the meeting. Among these leaving are E. Salt F. Swenke, A. G. Robertson, W. Bains, B. Harding and the Triple Springs Farm. Jockey H. Howard left for New York where he will spend a few days. He will report to his stable at Havre de Grace on Monday next The imported steeplechaser Herriard, which won for F. M. Alger oh the opening day of the meeting was purchased by trainer Healey at Saratoga and is intended for a hunter. The horse trained so well that his people decided to give him a chance and he bids fair to develop into a useful horse through the field.- Up to today the apprentice McTague has ridden fourteen winners which leaves him just one more winning mount before his apprenticeship up here expires. Fred Shelke, who has him under his. wing, contemplates racing a string at Miami next winter. A sale of some castoffs of the Seagram Stable, held in the paddock at Blue Bonnets this morning, L. Rosenstein purchased Ambulance for 50 and Colmar for S0. J. A. Smith got Mouche for 30 and several of the others brought smaller prices. Brilliant Jester and Toscanelli were retained.
