BARNEY GOOGLE showed much speed in the going and came wide when entering the stretch, but raced into the lead and kept it gamely in the final drive. MARK OVER set a fast early pace and finished gamely, but tired right at the end. URBANNA ran -well, but came Tery -wide at the elbow and jumped over a patch on the track thirty yards from the finish, almost unseating her jockey. GEORGE DE MAR, fractious at the barrier, finished with a rush. SEA TIDE finished fast next to the inner rail. HELEN CONDON ran away a half mile before the race. SWINGALONG was rushed into the lead at once and showed high speed, set a great pace and was forced out on the stretch turn, but finished fast and drew away from MISS STAR in the final sixteenth. MISS STAR ran a fast and game race all the way, but came wide on the stretch turn and swerved over to the inside rail at the end. LUCKY PLAY raced on the inside all the way and finished gamely. TREE TOP ran well. ALCHEMY was always outrun. LORD BALTIMORE II. was taken very wide for the entire race. Scratched 82470 Elvina, 105; 8349S3Leopardess, 105; 83343 H. T. Waters, 108. COCKNEY began well, but was outrun early and forced to work his way up on the outside, but closed a big gap and finished fastest of all. TESTER began well and showed the most speed to the stretch, but tired badly near the end. SILK TASSEL came wide on the last turn uad finished gamely. ASPIRATION closed up some ground in the stretch. BLIND PLAY, close up from the start, followed, the early pacemaker closely and, coming inside of him on the stretch, took the lead and drew away to win under restraint. CHECK was outrun to the stretch, but gained steadily and out finished RESOLUTION. The latter ran a good race all the way. GAY BEN, close up from the start, raced into a long lead on the backstretch and held it well through the final eighth. BOWMAN began well, but was quickly outrun, then worked his way up steadily on the outside and finished fast. POOR SPORT ran a good race all the way and finished well. SUNSHOT showed the most early speed, but tired. SUPERBUM closed a big gap. CORK ELM, BARERO and CAMPHOR were eased up in the stretch. DANBY, away well, ran a good race al the way, but did not menace the winner. DELHI BOY finished well. NIGHT MARCH showed much early speed, but tired badly in the final twenty yards and swerved against the fence, which cost him third place. KING JIMMY was running fast at the end. PLAY HOUR could never improve his position after losing ground on the far turn. Scratched S3578 McCrimmon, 115; 83G92 Rockstone, 115.
