LEADING AMERICAN JOCKEYS Johnny Maiben continues to ride In the brilliant stylo that has characterized his work all year and had the highest score of last week, adding nine victories to his total, which now stands at 108, placing him in a tie with L. McDermott and G. Ellis for fifth place. J. Wallace is .again cutting down the lead that Parke holds on first place, Wallaces seven winning mounts of last week reducing Parkes advantage to nineteen. Parkes total is 160 and Wallaces 147. L. Lang just failed to overtake P. Walls ,the first mentioned riding six winners, bringing his total to US, while Walls accounted for three, his total now reading 119. Other riders who did well last week were II. Pa-der. with six winners, O. Pernia and K. Noe, each with five, while H. Stutts, F. Woodstock and J. Berg each added three to their totals.
