LADDIE BUCK ran well all the way, but tired. QUIESCENT began slowly and rushed un into a contending position, but tired in the final eighth. TRAPDALB Fet a fast early pace and quit. SEA SAND was saved under restraint behind the early leaders and was knocked abouj, but found an opening at the eighth post and finished fast. DR. CHARLES "WELLS also finished fast and took third place in the final stride. WILD GOOSE challenged the winner in the stretch, but tired. ANTONIA quit after setting a fast early pace. SOGGARTH AROON moved up rapidly on the backstretch into the lead and, withstanding a challenge from ED PENDLETON, was hard ridden at the end to maintain his advantage, but won going away. BABY GRAND raced well and came again and outgamed ED PENDLETON. The latter raced to tlie leaders with a rush, but tired in the final drive. FIERY FLIGHT came cn the outside of the first two on the last turn and finished fast and gamely. SUBTLE showed speed and set a good pace, but tired.
