ANOTHER FOR DUST FLOWER Registers Her Third Success of Akron Meeting in Defeating Harmonious and Crystal Ford. AKRON,. Ohio, Oct,. 8. T, H. Bernhardts Dust Flower scored her third success during the present meeting when she took the measure of Harmonious and Crystal Ford in the sixth and feature race at Northampton Park th!s afternoon. Harmonious pressed- the- winner closely until straightened out in the stretch, -but -Dust Flower never relinquished the lead and drew clear near the end. Crystal Ford closad .much . ground to get third. Pat Hampson led throughout to an easy victory in the fifth number as did Dr. Shafer in the -opening dash. The remaining races were productive of keen struggles in which the winners came from behind in the stretch to earn brackets. Favorable conditions prevailed and the attendance improved over yesterday. Chow Chow was badly cut down in her last race here and will be on the shelf for some time. Elga was claimed by Thomas and Keller for 700 out of the fourth- race. C. Kindle claimed Gail Ford for 00 -out of the seventh race. Jockey M. Millerick was set down for the remainder of the meeting by starter Harris for disobedienco while at the post.
