LAUREL PARK NOTES LAUREL, Md., Oct. 9. T. Wilson got into action astride Sea Fairy and Wraith, from the J. W. Dayton stable. J. T. Taylor arrived from Latonia with Elizabeth K., Wuhu and Almadel, belonging to Hal Price Headley. Walter Jennings, looking younger than ever, showed up in the paddock. He will remain here until October 24 and then return to California. The stewards fined Joe Rowan 525 for improper report of Thessaly to the paddock judge. He said she would be there for the third race but she wasnt. Horsemen were grieved to learn of the death in Baltimore of Patrick West The deceased made many friends while making out badges at Pimlico. Thessaly missed her appointment in the paddock for the third race yesterday because a van in which she was coming from Havre do Grace broke down. W. Webber arrived from Aurora in advance of Bruneth and Bay Dingle, which ho is training for J. C. Waters. He said that the Illinois meeting was a good one.
