Won driving; second and third the same. AVRACKLANE, close up from the start, moved up with a rush in the stretch and outfinlshed NEW HOPE in the final drive. The latter raced HENDRICK into defeat and took a brief lead, but tired badly in the final sixteenth. CARTHAGE raced well from the start and finished gamely. HENDRICK showed the most early speed, but was in close quarters on the Inside in the stretch and tired badly. CONFLUENTE quit. KUMONIN closed up some ground. GRACE TROXLER could not keep up. ANTICIPATION raced in closest pursuit from the start and, passing ALL IN ALL in the stretch, took a good lead and held ROSA YETA safe at the finish. ROSA YETA raced on the outside and moved up rapidly in the stretch and finished gamely. STORMALONG improved his position steadily on the inside and finished fast. AVYNNEWOOD began very slowly and closed a big gap. ALL IN ALL showed the most early speed, but quit badly in the final eighth. EAGERNESS ran well. JUNO, TUFTNEY and FAIltLIGHT had no chance at the start. INTREPID set a good pace from the start and raced VENUS into early defeat, but gave way when challenged by the winner. CHAMPIGNOL raced into contention quickly and made a challenge cn the stretch turn, but tired when put to a drive. WAR MASK closed a gap from a slow beginning.
