Won easily; second and third driving. QUEEN CHARMING, away well and showing the most Fpeed, raced into the lead at once and, when freed from restraint, drew away in the stretch to win in a canter. COLONEL WAGNER came with a rush around the stretch turn and was racing gamely at the end. GREAT BEGINNER began slowly and was ridden wide, but finished gamely. BUGLER also came with a rush after closing a gap. SPANISH ROSE tired badly. QUEEN BESS quit in the last quarter. Won driving; second and third the same. FAIRY MASTER, well ridden and racing forwardly from the start, stood hard riding in the stretch gamely and outfinished KING NADI. The latter showed a good order of speed and, racing into the lead, finished resolutely. FRIEND was ridden wide on most of the turns, but was going fast at the end. SINGLEHAND, away slowly, raced into forward contention in the first three-eighths, but tired near the end. GAFFNEY tired after reaching the stretch. TALEQUA was going well at the end.
