JOCKEY BABINS STORY LATONIA, Ky., Oct 11. Here is the story of jockey Babin, who rode Sarazen to victory: "I never rode a horse that seemed so strong so able to run," said jockey Babin, between excited breaths after the race. "He could have gone to the front any time at all. I didnt want him to run too fast the first part, so held him under restraint Then, without being asked, he galloped right on by Chilhowee and I had a time keeping him from going too fast We were more than a half mile from home and, with clear sailing, I didnt want to let him tire himself. "Then, when Epinard and Mad Play ran up on us before we hit the turn into the stretch, I touched him with the whip ana sent him along. It was just like coasting from there home. I never felt more confident on a horse and knew I had the race won when he went to the front"
