Won handily; second and third driving. ROYAL AIRMAN set the early pace and, after being passed by KIA, moved up steadily on the outside after entering the stretch and took the lead again, but swerved towards the inside rail at the eighth post and forced KIA info close quarters, then won going away. RELIABLE crossed over sharply on the far turn and knocked STONY POINT out of contention, but came fast through the stretch. JEROBOAM raced well from the start and finished fast. KIA showed early speed and, racing into the lead, kept it until interfered with. REPARTEE ran a good race. STONY POINT was working his way up when he was bumped. SKIRMISH followed the early leader under slight restraint and, racing into the lead when entering the stretch, drew away, but was tiring at the end and just lasted to win. BRCGU3 BUCHANAN, close up from the start, closed up steadily through the final sixteenth and would have won in another stride. HONFLEUR showed the most early speed and tired, but finished gamely. 1HE POET was "outrun and ran a poor- race. KELLERMAN had no mishaps. PLEASANT MEMORIES showed a high flight of speed in fast pacemaking, but tired badly near the end. SWEET ANN was always outrun. FLORENCE NIGHTINGALE dwelt at the start.
