LAUREL PARK NOTES LAUREL, Md., Oct. 14. Before the race in which his Gunboat participated, S. D. Riddle presented a gold split-second watch to George Conway, foreman of the Riddle Farm Stable. Starter Milton handed out penalties as follows after the start in the third race: J. G. Smallwood, three days ; J. Wallace, three days; E. Renzetti, three days; H. Howard, five days. Epinard is coming to Laurel. Eugene Leigh wired the management today he would ship Epinard from Latonia Wednesday morning. He is coming to fill his engagement in the Laurel 0,000 added mile stake, which features Saturdays racing here.
