NEW ORLEANS PROSPECTUS E. R. Bradley Brings Word of Activities at Crescent City Tracks Many There. LEXINGTON, Ky., Nov. 19. E. R. Bradley returned this morning from New Orleans, where he has been for a week conferring with his associates at the Fair Grounds relative to plans for the coming winter racing at the old Crescent City track. He announced that arrangements have been completed for the enclosing of the grandstand in glass and for many other improvements to be made before the opening, January 1. Over 1,300 stall applications have been put on file for the Fair Grounds by owners from all over the country and a number will .have to be turned down, for lack of room. There are already over COO horses in New Orleans and newcomers arriving with every train. Interest in the racing is in excess of former years and there appears a more wholesome interest for the sport. Mr. Bradley stated that the Jefferson Park track had been improved considerably and that the removal of the "hog back" from the racing strip will be of great advantage. The stables at Jefferson Park have been added to and other features that have been incorporated will be beneficial to the racing patrons.
