Won easily; second and third driving. BROTHER JOHN was away fast and, racing into a good lead at once, set an extremely fast pace and always held the race safe. RAPID DAY ran a good race and finished fast and gamely. COB-WEI5 raced in nearest pursuit to the last eighth and tired. SPANISH ROSE began tiring in the last eighth. FRENCH CANADIAN was done after running a good half mile. PRECIOUS ONE raced into the lead with a rush and, after disposing of INVASION, drew away and won in a canter. RESISTANCE ran a good race for the entire way. ST. FAUST closed a big gap and fin.shed gamely. ROCKARDEN also closed a gap. TALEQUA began tiring in the last eighth. INVASION ran away a mile before the start and showed a good order of speed in setting a fast early pace, but tired. NAOMI G. was going well at the finish. PETER DECOY showed speed for the first half. SNOW MAIDEN set the early pace, then raced in closest pursuit of the winner and fiirshed gamely through the stretch. SANDS OF PLEASURE ran a good race and finished gamely. The latter began slowly and took the lead in the first eighth, saved ground, but tired iti the final drive. MARVIN MAY raced forwardly all the way. PEGASUS was away slov?y and closed a big gap. The latter was far back early and suffering from much interference, but fame fast through the stretch. GEM raced into the lead and tired in the last sixteenth. SIMOON liad a rough race and showed much improved form. BESSIE LEIGHTON acted badly at the post and quit in the last eighth. MEDINA quit badly after going a half mile in the lead.
