W. S. Kilmers Winnings of 1924 AV. S. Kilmer, breeder and sportsman of Binghamton, N. Y., and most widely known as the owner of the great Exterminator, enjoyed a, goodly measure of success during the racing of 1924. His stable comprised twenty-two horses, the majority of which were the get of his noted stallion Sun Briar, one of the fastest horses that raced in this country in the last decade. It Avas principally due to the Sun Briar colts and fillies that Mr. Kilmer won 572,590 during the campaign of 1924. Sunny Man, a chestnut colt by Sun Briar Romagne, by Polymelus, and one of the outstanding stars of the juAenile division of 1024, was tho chief contributor to the Kilmer winnings, he accounting for five races and 532,075. Sunsard won ?10,000, Sunayr 50,850 and our old friend Exterminator addd 54,140 before being sent to the farm to end his days romping about the spacious paddocks, the pride of his owner and idol of racing devotees the country over. As the Kilmer stable of 1924 was composed of all young horses, with the exception of Exterminator, and as they are all bred in the purple and exceptionally promising, the prospscts for next year for this flourishing establishment are exceptionally bright.
