BUYS SPEEDY, THE BADGER NEW ORLEANS, La., Nov. 27. The first important turf transaction of the local racing season was consummated this morning, when F. Letellier bought for the Southland Stable from Will Perkins the speedy two-year-old gelding, The Badger, on private terms. The Badger is by Star Master Bagdadine and having raced well in Kentucky during the fall season, should make good for his new owners. .
