AAon driving; second and third the same. THE AINTNER began slowly and raced wide for most of the way, hut came fast just before reaching the stretch and, racing into the lead, finished gamely. AVILD ASTER, much the best, began poorly and raced wide on the turns and was under restraint through the last sixteenth. CENTIMETER set a fast pace and ran a good race, but tired. BAD LUCK moved up slowly after going the first quarter, but had to be ridden hard from near the end to outstay GOOD AVILL. The latter began slowly and was ridden wide, but finished fast and gamely. FIRMAMENT suffered from much interference and clod a gap. LUCKY tired. DAN E. STEAAART ran cut on the first turn, interfering with several of the others. HELEN G. ran a fast half mile. DOHIUS was close up from the start and lost ground by coming wide on the last turn, but came with a rush through the stretch and wore MAYOR CARREL down in the last seventy yards. MAYOR CARBEL raced forwardly all the way and made a game finish. SEA COURT, from a siow beginn ng, moved up with a rush in the first half mile into the lead and stayed gamely in the final drive. STOKM-ALONG showed speed and ran well. DAAID HARUM tired after going three-quarters. STAUNCH also was done after going three-quarters. STONEAVALL set the early pace and quit. FRANK GAILOR ran a good race. MISS MAZIE was far back from the start. BLUE HILL ran poorly.
