GOLDEN LOCKS, hard ridden from the start, passed LUCKY in the first three-eighths and, taking a long lead, easily held the race safe to the end. ORAGEUSE was repeatedly taken back, but closed a gap and made a fast fiu-sh. LUCKY set the early pace, but began tiring badly after reaching the stretch. SUN CARIS ran a good race. Won easily: second and third j driving. TIIEO was away slowly, gained steadily under hard riding and, coming through the stretch ! with a rush, won going away. EL ASTRO raced close up from the start and finished well. RACHEL POTTER ran a good race and made a game finish. LITTLE ALFRED set a great pace and raced into a long lead, but quit in the stretch drive. LADY BOSS showed speed briefly and quit badly. FRENCH CANADIAN ran well to the last eighth. ELEMENTAL finished fast. BOOT BLACK was badly outrun. DREAMER had no mishaps.
