JEFFERSON PARK NOTES NEW ORLEANS, La., Dec. IS. Thomas Hodge arrived Thursday with the old horse, Tantalus. F. D. Howard arrived at the same time with the horses Rogon Jr. and Jack Paine II. The following have been granted trainers licenses : R. N. Vestal, Tom Hodge and F. D. Howard. James Burns has disposed of the plater, Charles Henry, to A. Lamantia, a local business, man, on private terms. Racing secretary Jos. McLennan announced that the condition books for the first week of the Fair Grounds meeting would be distributed Friday.
