SHANGHAI was far back after making a slow beginning, but came with a rush through the last quarter. CUP O TEA was always outrun. DEAN II. ran well to the last eighth. ATTA 150Y II. ran a good race. WHIRLING DUN closed a gap. TELESCOPE set a good pace to the last eighth and quit. MARTHA MOORE ran poorly. ROYAL CHARLIE raced well to the last eighth. FLAXY MAE unseated her rider when caught in a jam on the first turn. HICKMAN was forced back on the last turn, but came fast through the stretch. PETE THE SCRIBE closed a big gap. LEATIIERWOOD showed line speed to midway of the stretch.
