* STAKES FOR RACELAND LEXINGTON, Ky.. May 4.— The stakes for the summer meeting of the Tri-State Fair and Racing Association at Raceland which is to open Thursday, July 9, were announced today by general manager J. O. Keene. They are the same as last year, four in number, and entries are to close at midnight of Wednesday, June 3. The Raceland Derby, which is to be run Saturday, July IS, is for three-year-olds at one mile and a quarter and has ,000 added. The other events each have ,000 added, and are: the Ashland Handicap for three-year-olds and over, one mile and a sixteenth; the Greenup Handicap, for two-year-olds, at three-quarters ; the lrontonia Stakes for two-year-olds at five and one-half furlongs.
