Won ridden out: second and third driving. GAVOTTE raced into second place soon after the start and, passing SKIPALONG after entering the home stretch, made a game finish. SKIPALONG, a quick beginner, set a fast pace for the first quarter and stayed resolutely when challenged. TAPS raced forwardly throughout. HANTS began well but lacked speed. IIENUY DATTNEU saved ground where possible and jumped well, although he made a blunder at the twelfth, but could never get to the winner. CHUCKLE outgamed PKUKIOMKN in the final drive. DRAFT was MMi np after showing speed in the first turn of the field. BROAD RUN lost his rider at the seventh jump and FANE LADY hers ut the tenth. COMMISSIONER began slowly but closed a big gap into the lead and tired at the end. PETE THE SCRII.E gained steadily and finished fast and wearing the winner down. TIMELESS ran well and finished fast. FLYING AL and ORIENTAL HOPE were much used in making the pace and tired. MI DINETTE was prominent for a half mile but tired badly and was eased up. ENSIGN was saved under a pull until making the turn into the home stretch, where he came on the outside and gained rapidly but had to be hard ridden at the end to outfinish YOUNG APRIL. The latter raced in nearest pursuit all the way and finished resolutely. SEA SAND dropped back while rounding the far turn, but came fast in the stretch and outfinished ANTIQUARIAN. Won easily; second and tfcird driving. MAID AT ARMS, after racing into a good lead, made the pace tinder slight restraint to the stretch, then drew far away and won in a canter. REVOKE finished fast and gamely and wore IRIMROSE and THISTLEWOOI down to take second place in the final stride. PRIMROSE closed a big gap and finished fast. THISTLEWOOI ran well all the way. BEATRICE darted across to the inside at the start, interfering with IRIMROSE and her rider was forced to pull the latter up. GOLDPIECE was outrun from the start, but moved up fast after entering the home stretch, and passed NOCTURNE but had to be ridden out to outstay SILVER UOCK. The latter finished fast next the inside rail. SCORCHER began very slowly. NORTURNE ran a fast half and was eased up when beaten.
