V STEP ALONG IN FAST WORK ] I LEXINGTON, Ky., May 4.— Step Along, which, in his start here recently, was beaten decisively by Broadway Jones and Old Slip, turned in the best trial of any of the Kentucky Derby aspirants in these parts when he went a mile, Sunday, over a fast track in 1:3U%, and a mile and an eighth in 1:52%. i Step Along will have an opportunity to redeem his recent defeat in the Blue Grass Stakes which serves as a sort of preliminary to the Kentucky Derby. Traymore went a creditable mile this morning with big weight up over a heavy track and ran the distance in 1 :43%. He is also an intended starter in the Blue Grass Stakes.
