KILLASHANDRA showed a good flight of early speed in pacemaking. saved ground on the turns and outgamed BlCK POND in Ihe final drive. BlCK POND was shuffled back shoitly after the start and came again under hard riding, but tired in the? final strides. PEDAGOGIE was shut off on the far turn and forced back. BARBARY, away well, showed the most early speed and made the pace fast, but tired in the final eighth. IDIOSYNCRASY was shuffled back after the start, and gained steadily on the outside and while swerving out through the final eighth finished with a rush. ENSLAVED, close up from the start, tired when hard ridden. TEAPOT was badly outpac-ed. TOI* SERGEANT was rushed into the lead shortly after the start and, setting a fast pace, withstood a challenge from LONG POINT in the stretch and won going away. LONG POINT raced in closest pursuit of the winner and moved up with a msh in the stretch, but was easily held safe. BILLY WARREN was a forward contender from the start and outgamed HAYWARD in the final drive. The latter finished fast on the inside. FINN LAG had no mishaps.
