JAMAICA TURF NOTES NEW YORK. N. Y.. May 13. Jockey Marinelli is showing decided improvement according to advices from Mary Immaculate Hospital at Jamaica. Marinelli has regained consciousness and has started a milk diet. His wife and daughter are constantly at his bedside. H. C. Fisher and Frank E. Wilson left for Kentucky to witness Swope run in the Derby. Max liirsch has reached the conclusion not to ship the champion Sarazen to Toronto for his engagement in the Toronto Cup at Woodbine. Two horses changed hands via the claiming route in the fifth race. J. A. Coburn took St. Martins from E. Arlington for ,400 and J. W. Scherrard took Ducky from R. Alexander for ,300. The Greentreo Stables Moonraker changed hands after winning the Newtown Selling Stakes, the feature event of the card. Clarence Buxton, whose lx,ng Point finished second, claimed the son of Broomstick Alster Cress for ,000.
