BELMONT TURF NOTES NEW YORK, N. Y., June 9. Banner Bearer, which was shipped here from LsafonrfssS, Ky.. by Otto Torrell. was sold at private terms to .1. McCambridge. Two claims were filed in the fifth race yesterday. C. Buxton took Balance Sheet, while J. Wormser took Play Hour; both were claimed from G. D. Widener for ,500 each. Among the notable visitors of the day were Edward R. Bradley, owner of the Idle Hour Stock Farm and the ruling spirit of the Fair Grounds at New Orleans, with Col. John Sullivan, his associate from New Orleans, and a niece. Mr. Bradley will remain in New York for the running of the Belmont Stakes Saturday.
