i I I i i DEBUT OF FOREIGN HORSES Fourteen Imported Thoroughbreds Make First American Appearance at Havre de Grace. HAVRK ME GRACE. Md., April 5.— There are fourteen British and Irish-bred horses in the string Henry McDaniel had been training at Ross Farm in Howard County, Maryland, with the stable of Commander Ross, of Montreal, and these will take the field at the coming Havre ds Grace meeting under the silks of William A. Read, the Daurel Park Stud and Harry Armitage. Armitages representative in the string is Addition, a three-year-old by Adular — You Too. Addition won the Paddock Stakes at Windsor last spring. He and the other thirteen came over last fall and in February and most of them appear to be right Henry McDaniel has given all plenty of shed work and the most forward are galloping briskly over the local course, which has been in good conditio!* for upward of a week.
