Trueman lost one of the best two-year-olds he had in his string when the gray filly hy Stephen the Creat — Almonde bolted into the- fence and broke her neck while being galloped over the straw-track at the- stable while in winter quarters at Laurel. Vidow Bodotte, which won a number of races in Trueman Colors, has a fine looking filly foal by Gnome at Adm. Cary T. Craysons farm in Virginia.
