PRICE McKlNNEYS SAD END Well Known Capitalist and Sportsman Takes Own Life — Former Breeder and Owner. CLEVELAND, Ohio. April 14— Price McKinney. well-known capitalist and sportsman, who a number of years ago was extensively interested in breeding and racing of thoroughbred horses, was found dead in his suburban home here yesterday. He was seated in a chair witn a pistol in his hand and a bullet wound in the head. Mr. McKinney. many times a millionaire, was one of the outstanding figures in the steel industry. He aim owned gold and silver mines in Mexico. In partnership with James Corrigan. Mr. McKinney raced an extensive stable in Kentucky and on the eastern tracks up to about Sight years ago. When, for some unexplained reason, the firm decided to dissolve and dispose of all its breeding Btock at Kingston Farm and all of its horses in training. Since then Mr. McKinney has not raced any horses of his own. but a few years ago. Mr. Corrigan again became affiliated with tin- sport as an owner and today has a numh.-i". of horses in training in the barn of Pete Coyne at hurclull I »owns.
