BUBBLING OVER ALL RIGHT Reports as Colt Having Bowed a aTendon Tendon Greatly Exaggerated ExaggeratedAccording According to Trainer IuVTONIA Ky June 1 Despite the re ¬ ports that have been sent broadcast regard ing the condition of Bubbling Over there is nothing seriously wrong with the Kentucky Derby winner and it will not be necessary to throw him out of training The colt is sound and there is nothing amiss with him It is true that while in a playful mood dur ing his workout at Churchill Downs last Thursday he struck himself on his left fore leg and the member filled up somewhat Rut there was never any danger of the cot suffering a bowed tendon tendonTuesday j Tuesday morning Bubbling Over was gal ¬ loped over a muddy track at 1itonia going ever two miles and he returned to the barn vith no swelling at all on liis leg which was higiin in normal condition 1 rainer Dick Thompson discounted all adverse reports regarding the colts condition j by calling attention to him to isewspapermei i after the horse had returned from his gallop j Thompson declared that if the weather and track at I atonia had been good Tuesday j morning that he would have given Bubbling Over a good trial which would have put him i in trim to start in the Latonia Derby As it is the colt will not start in next i Saturdays race but he will certainly be seen under colors in a nice in the near fu ture You can say for me declared j Thompson that Bubbling over is now just as sound as he was when he won the Kcn I tucky Derby and that barring accidents i he will win many more stakes this year i With Bubbling Over out of the Latonia Derby the Idle Hour Farm Stable will have to rely upon Bagenbaggage and Boot to Boot ito carry its colors in the big race
