ARRIVAL OF EIGHT FOALS HAVRE DE GRACE, Md., April 21.— C. L. Whiting the Geneseo sportsman, who is here looking over the horses that trainer T. J. Donohue is preparing for him. plans to leave on Saturday for Lexington to be on hand for the opening of the Lexington meeting. Mr. Whiting has nine two-year-olds in training at the Kentucky Jockey Clubs course. While at Lexington he will inspect the eleven mares he has at the E. K. Thomas farm on the Russell Cave Pike near Paris. The following mares, the property of Mr. Whiting, have already foaled : Step Up, a filly by Freeholder ; Valley Grass, a bay colt by Main-tenant ; Mama Johnson, a bay filly by Mor-vich : Miss White, a bay colt by Bly : Listen Dearie, a chestnut colt by Freeholder; Mattie Handsel, a chestnut colt by Maintenant ; Trixy Cal, a chestnut colt by Red Wing; Remnant II.. a chestnut filly by Maintenant. Remnant II. will be bred back to Morvich ; Mattie Handsell to Maintenant. while the other mares will oe bred to Big Blaze.
