PURCHASES KENTUCKY FARM LEXINGTON. Ky., April 21.— Wade H. Harley, Miami, Fla.. capitalist, acting through Warren Eraser, today bought from Luther Rice. 16u acres of the land on the Paris Pike, that formerly was the property • of the late James B. Haggin. It is his in-, tention to erect thereon, a colonial residence and to equip the place for the production of thoroughbred and saddle horses. Harley now is the owner of several fine saddle horses and has nine thoroughbred mares that are at James L. Dodges Hillside Farm in Bourbon county. Mr. and Mrs. Harley have been in the Blue Grass region i for about ten days, having come for the expressed purpose of buying a farm. They looked at many places before they decided upon this property, which is near that of Messrs. Payne Whitney and Joseph E. Wid-ener. It is in the section known as "Tiffany Row."
