PAYING OFF THE HORSEMEN Illinois Jockey Club Settling in inFull Full for Unpaid Purses at atWashington Washington Park General Manager C W Hay of the Illi ¬ nois Jockey Club announced today that amounts due the horsemen for last years purses at Washington Park are being paid by the Union Bank of Chicago Trust Depart ¬ ment 25 North Dearborn Street Chicago ChicagoThe The total amount due the horsemen in ¬ cluding 33 R Bradley for the American Derby amounts to nearly 90000 Mr Brad ¬ ley was previously given a check for 50000 and has a balance of 39000 due dueAll All accounts are being paid in full and about a dozen of the horsemen located at Chicago and Aurora called this morning and received their money Horsemen who are not in the vicinity are being mailed checks checksIt It will be necessary for any horsemen who are holding old checks to send them to the above mentioned bank or to General Manager C W Hay at Homewood for settle ¬ ment of their claims
