VALUE OF SKULL CAPS CAPSNEW NEW YORK X Y May 16 G Rose who was most seriously injured of the three jockeys that fell in the second race was rid ¬ ing his first race on the metropolitan circuit He is employed by James W Healey and has been connected with the establishment during the winter in Maryland His most serious injury was sight concussion and he was taken to the Mary Immaculate Hospital at Jamaica Barnes and llastie suffered slight bruises but each of these rideis attribute their escape from serious huls to their skull caps The skull caps worn by those boys showed several dents Hastic was bruised in the jam but he retained his seat and finirlied in the race
