AURORA TURF NOTES AURORA 111 May 20 20The The fifth issue of condition books was dis ¬ tributed among the horsemen today It cov ¬ ers the last eight days of the meeting The best race of the issue is the Decoration Dny Handicap covering a purse of 3000 The race is for threeyearolds and over and is over the mile and an eighth route routeThe The Huguenot property of D Breckinridge which took sick two weeks ago has been put in training again by Charles Houbre HoubreC C Irby and C D Pryor made up a car and shipped their horses to Fairmount Friday FridayE E 1C Watson was another to leave the Aurora course He is also shipping to Fair mount mountJack Jack Carey racing secretary at Omaha was a visitor today He has reservations for 3000 thoroughbreds whie there are stable ac ¬ commodations for only 700 His mission is to cancel reservations made by some of the horsemen campaigning here He expects to return to Omaha Saturday night The Omaha meeting starts June 1 and runs through July 4 4Jockey Jockey E Gianelloni has gone to work for the Mira Monte Stock Farm He is schooling the ten twoyearolds in the care of H W Hoag HoagPelion Pelion Alluwe Lightning Mabel Seth and Clique were added to the schooling list while Updike Jessie Belle and Hob Spalding were excused excusedCol Col R L Baker who is racing a string of thoroughbreds at Exposition Park with marked success was a visitor at this course today The master of the Baker establish ¬ ment announced that the members of his stable that are campaigning at Exposition Park would be shipped to Omaha Neb to participate in the racing there thereJ J T Buckley claimed Silent Lillian out of the first race for 1800
