GEO M HENDRIE CHAIRMAN TORONTO Ont May 20 At the annual meeting of the Canadian Racing Associations the committee granted many licenses and the following officers were elected for the coining year George M Hendrie chair ¬ man J K L Ross vicechairman and W P Fraser secretarytreasurer secretarytreasurerIt It is interesting to note that jockeys Jimmy Butwell and Johnny Williams have been granted licenses to tide as freelancers on the Canadian circuit this season Last year the formers mounts were confined to the E F Whitney Stable in Canada and jockey Wil ¬ liams was only allowed to ride the horses trained by John Nixon
