HOLDS OPTION ON L HARDY LOUISVILLE Ky May 28 Col P T Chinn today confirmed the report that he had taken an option from Everett Bros on the contract they hold on apprentice L Hardy the leading rider at Akron Col Chinn also stated that there was a possi ¬ bility of his buying the contract as he be ¬ lieves the lad is destined to be a most capa ¬ ble rider The boy will report to trainer Charles E Patterson at Washington Park to which place Patterson has shipped his divi ¬ sion of the Chinn Stable
