NORTHAMPTON PARK CLOSES Ideal Weather Prevails for Final FinalDay Day of Akron Meeting Pauley in Limelight AKRON Ohio May 2S Ideal conditions prevailed and a capacity crowd witnessed the racing at Northampton Park this aftrenoon which marked the finish of the meeting Close and exciting finishes resulted With four winners to his credit the riding of the veteran jockey Ralph Pauley was a feature lie completed the quartet of winners when he landed Kathleen K home by a head in ad ¬ vance of the fastfinishing Sancho Pansy in the sixth race Vasquez came from far back to beat the others home homeRacing Racing for the first time in the colors of his new owners the Sunflower Stables Ted led by a safe margin at all stages of the sev ¬ enth race Darius in a drive outstayed Bear Grass for second place placeSaving Saving ground entering the stretch enabled Sam Slick to take the opening race which at ¬ tracted the best field of twoyearolds dur ¬ ing the meeting It was only by a narrow margin however that he got home in front of Cyclopean and Regularity after both had gone wide at the turn for nome nomeAt At no stage of the following race was Aunt Deda in serious trouble Ima Fox was much the best of the others Midday barely lasted to save third place from Hampton Miss which finished fast fastSaving Saving ground all the way the Plainsman outstayed Mason Towlc after a keen stretch struggle in the third race Tulane was a good third and going fast
