; . ; . , i RAIN HALTS AURORA WORK Continuous Downpour Keeps Horses Idle — Coffroth Handicap Winner Expected Today. AURORA. 111.. April 6.— The almost continuous rain of Thursday called a halt to all activities at Exposition Park. None of the horses were out, not even for exercise on the roads. General manager Clifford R. Trimble was notified that a distinguished visitor was en route to the Aurora track in Crystal Pennant, the Coffroth Handicap winner. Crystal Pennant is on the Tijuana special of nine cars, which is. expected to reach here tomorrow. Among the horses on this special are seven owned by C. B. Irwin, the Wyoming breeder and ranchman, who plans to race on the Illinois circuit this year. P. T. China, well known and popular Kentucky breeder and turfman, will be repre- sented at the local meeting. C. Houbre brought the following from New Orleans, some of which are his own property, the others belong to Chinn : Madcap Princess, West Wind, Joy Taylor. Undertow. Lillian T., Coal Black, Trompe of Dawn and three two-year-olds. The Pueblo Stable, trained by W.
