WUAP, away well, raced in close up pursuit of the leaders and, racing into the lead on the stretch turn, drew far away and won in a canter. CATERPILLAR took a slight lead early and saved ground where possible, but could not withstand the winners challenge. CAlCHO raced close up all the way and •was forced to lose ground while on the outside. YALLER GAL ran a good race and finished gamely. ONCORA was crowded back at the start. MISTY MORN raced wide. KIND WORDS suffered from Interference and had no chance. GEORGIA HERGET was green at the barrier and unseated her rider.
