The horse wintered well and will be immediately put into training. George Foley, who wintered at Fort Erie, arrived at Dufferin Park with Wheatstick. John W. Weber, Hot Pepper. Thymon and two others. Latest reports from Montreal are that snow held up tht training of most of the horses there. As a result, trainer W. Walsh is considering shipping to Toronto the horses he is handling for several owners. A few days of sunny weather and horsemen will be busy with their charges at the various Toronto tracks. Bud Graver added two more horses to the band he is training for a local sportsman when he purchased the two-year-old geldings Cadnum and William D. from Dr. Duncan of Toronto. Cadnum is by Categat — Maggie O., and William D. by Uncle John — Chimera, It will be remembered that Graver formerly trained the sire of William D.
