PETEE-WRACK IMPRESSES NEW YORK, X. Y.. April 11.— J. B. Mac-omber, the Boston turfman and breeder, who hsa named Petee-Wrack for the Preaknesa stakes and Kentucky Derby, is more than satisfied with the colts progress ii his spring training for the big fixtures. Petee-Wrack. which was retired to winter quarters a maiden, gives promise of developing into a horse that will cause considerable worry to other trainers v. ho have named candidates for the rich event:. Petee-Wrack worked a mile yesterday morning over the main track at Belmont Parle. With his regular exercise boy in the saddle he was timed in 1:16 and was under restraint all the way. The big three-year-old was worked alone and ran the first quarter In 27 set onds. The pace for the next quarter was speeded up and he was timed for the half in 52;.-,. The boy had a confident hold on his mount and covered the three-quarters in 1:13 and the mile in 1:16. Trainer Booth wa. more than satisfied with the work.
