FRED JR. FERRIS STAR LOUISVILLE. Ky.. April 11.— The stable that J. C. Ferris brought from the South is a most useful one and. as all of the horses are in good training condition, they ought to win at an early dale. The stable is headed by the four-year-old Clark Handicap candidate Fred Jr.. which went amiss while being prepared for last seasons Kentucky Derby. The colt has fully recovered from the disability and is in rarely good condition. Others in the stable are Mayberry. Bloomfield, Zeta. Captain Haney and the two-year-olds Tommy Doyle, Martha Sue and Veronica Sterling. The horses came in charge of trainer Frank Stevens, who reporter that owner Ferris had gone to his home in Nashville, Tenn., for a brief visit.
