COLORS OF OTTO LEHMAN , Chicago Sportsmans Silks to Be Seen in Kentucky for First Time This Spring. t t LOPIS YILLE. Ky., April 11— The colors of J Otto Lehman, Chicago capitalist and sports- . man, will be seen for the first time on any J Kentucky track at Churchill Downs this spring. They will be carried by a small but . select band of horses which their owner bred * on his farm near Lake Villa, located about forty miles northwest of Chicago. The horses ". in question to the number of six have just arrived at the local track, coming from their owners farm, where they had been turned out all winter. They were consigned to Mose ! Shapoff, who will prepare them for the racing season here. Following the local meeting J the horses will be sent to Arlington Park for the Chicago summer campaign. The list embraces a couple of four-year-olds, three three-year-olds and one two-year- old. All are by Mr. Lehmans stallion Mas- J ter Fox, which has been standing at Lake Villa Farm for a number of years. The four- . year-olds, which raced a few times last year, J are both fillies and are named Foxy Jane and Hugger. The others have not yet been ! named. Following are the three-year-olds: l Bay filly, by Master Fox — Sewenda. Bay filly, by Master Fox— Chesney Lass. Bay filly, by Master Fox — Chesney Lady. The two-year-old is a brown gelding by Master Fox — Hug Me. Mr. Lehman also owns the Kentucky Derby I eligible Keigh Olga, which has been in charge of trainer Barney Michell for some time, and which is now being conditioned for the Derby 1 by that trainer, who is also handling the Mrs. f J. D. Hertz Derby hopes, Reigh Count and Sea Rip. Michell is having such fine success I in training Reigh Olga that owner Lehman * has decided to leave the colt in that trainers charge. Reigh Olga is now being given his 1 morning gallops in the company of Reigh 1 Count. Mr. Lehman has long been interested in i the breeding of saddle and show horses, and I it is only within recent years that he has I turned his attention to the breeding and • racing of thoroughbreds. i . — * 1
