; , ! ! I ! MARYLAND TURF NOTES | s e BALTIMORE. Md.. May 8. F. J. Gilroy, an owner and breeder of Buffalo, N. Y., was a visitor. Harry A. Manley. general manager of the Cumberland Fair, and Col. W. A. Robinson of the race committee of that association came down to Pimlico to confer with their racing secretary, Edward Brennan, regarding the conditions of a stake known as the Keating Memorial, which will be given during the Cumberland meeting. John P. Hogan, well known American sportsman, who has spent the last fifteen years in France and England, was a visitor at Pimlico Monday. Mr. Hogan is an ardent devotee of cross-country sport and was inter-. ested in several steeplechasers while abroad.
