SINCEUEI.Y gained slowly and. coining with a rush in the stretch, was wearing the winner clown and outfinished P.ASIIA. The latter raced in close pursuit of the leaders, moved up in the last eighth and was gaining on SINCEUEI.Y. EDGEWATKR. outpaced to the stretch, got through next to the inner rail and closed a big gap. AMERICAN TIICNDEU tired and fell back quickly in the final drive. SANCTION was outpaced all the way. THISTLE GOLD gained gradually and, coming on the inside in the stretch, passed the others and finished gamely. THRACE also got through on the inside in the stretch, closed a good gap and finished fast. P.AI.L GEE raced forwardly to the stretch and tired. CHINK was done in the stretch. SENTRY LASS closed a big gap. kno ked OMARDAI.E back when seventy yards out and finished fast. DAISY MINT ran a good race. MILDRED WOOD showed early sp-cd. OMARDAI.E suffered from interference all the way. having scant chance to race freely. GLAD EFFORT raced close up to the last eighth and tired badly. FRIGHTFUL raced into the lead and, setting a good pace, raced BCNTHORNE into defeat, but could not withstand the challenge of the winner. MASTER ACE. well back of the leaders most of the way, came wide into the stretch, but closed a gap mid finished well. BCNTHORNE saved ground on the inside on the first turn and raced close up for three-quarters, but tired and dropped back. BONNIE OMAR ran poorly and can do much better. The latter was far back early, but gained gradually and, coining fast on the inside near the finish, .challenged JCST BEAU and would have won in another stride. PEGGY BROWN set a good pace for six and a half furlongs, then tired and lost the lead, but finished well. MODO was on the inside all the way and ran a good race. FEHRAH and BAD LICK were prominent in the early running, but quit in the stretch.
