I ■ r s I r * 1 l £ 1 ] E J I j , j j j t BRADLEYS ARLINGTON BAND • Fifty-Eight Named for Rich Stakes at Chicago Track. ■ William Hurley Will Train Western Division of Idle Hour Farm Horses — Numerous Juveniles. • Stable reservations for twenty-three horses which will comprise the western division of the Edward R. Bradley stable, have been made at Arlington Park for the summer meeting which opens July 1. This division will be in charge of William Hurley, while the other division, which will be campaigned on the eastern tracks, will be under toe supervision of trainer H. J. "Dick" Thompson. The western division will be kept pretty busy this summer, for owner Bradley has made no less than fifty-eight entries to the Arlington stakes. Chief among the number is that of Blue Larkspur, which is entered in the Classic and North Shore Handicap. Included in the list of the stables western division are ten promising two-year-olds, all bred at Idle Hour Farm, and the names selected for the youngsters are : Black Lamp, Big Squawk, Beautiful Rose, Broken Sound, Bee Jay, By Product, Blameless, Burnt Brown, Baked Apple and Black Days. The older horses in the division are Blue Larkspur, Beauregard, Black Beetle. Bootland, Blackberry, Brillante, Bessie Alix, Buttered Toast, Burning Sun, Boo and Beaming Over. John J. Coughlin of Chicago, will race one of the largest stables at Arlington Park, according to the list of horses of his stable for which he has engaged stable room. According to present plans Mr. Coughlin will send thirty horses to Arlington, and the list includes Roguish Eye and Karl Eitel, both eligibles to the Classic ; Anton Cermak. Monica Norine, Dolly Polly, Armee Navee, Draha, Wacker Drive, Dan Burnham, Clearing House, Fiala, Ethel Sherlock, Cecelia Grob and Le Luan, and the following two-year-olds : Outer Harbor, Saluta, Kennedy, Two Tone, Alfred Trude, La Fiesta, Lillian Tobin, Nozdar, Contingent, Toman, Stretch Drive, Martha Florence, Tom Lee, Tippy Toe, Preferred and Who Win. The Dixiana Stable of Charles T. Fisher and Adm. C. T. Grayson, will also campaign an extensive string at Arlington in charge of trainer Preston M. Burch. This establishment has made thirty-seven entries to tho Arlington Park stakes, including its crack three-year-old Voltear, recently purchased from the Nevada Stock Farm, and which is among the eligibles to the Classic.
