Won driving; second and third the samew CECELIA GROB raced close up on the outside of the leaders, showed a good order of speed and, coming fast through the final sixteenth, outfinished GOLD BOOTS. The latter began well from au outside position and, racing into the lead, held sway to the stretch, but tired when the winner challenged. BEAU ASPIN was forced to race wide, but was always close up and was tiring through the final drive. JOHNNY CALLAHAN began tiring in the final sixteenth, but ran a good race. EDNA-DALE raced on the iuside throughout. ORMAN raced poorly. PATINA and BUCK WA were away poorly. OSSIB II. forced the pace around the far turn, then passed KANAWHA Into the lead and kept it to the finish. KANAWHA showed the most early speed and could not withstand the winner, but held the others safe through the last half mile. GOLDEN TOP. shuffled back at the start, had to work her way up on the outside, but closed up considerable ground and finished well. PARDON showed improved speed and saved ground where possible. MINT TODDY raced well. MAD A. could never reach the leaders. BLUE ROSE showed early speed on the inside. Won easily; second and third driving. SANDY HATCH set a fast pace while hard pressed by SUN DANCE, but, saving ground on the inside, drew away from the latter after entering the stretch and won by a safe margin. SUN DANCB raced close up on the outside of the leader and for-ed a fast pace for a time, but was held safe, though finishing gamely. FORTUNATE MANN was forced to race wide and lost considerable ground, but made a game finish. GO AWAY, saving ground on the inside, ran well throughout. CHARMING LADY showed speed and was in close pursuit to the stretch, but tired. WILDRAKE. in close quarter* at the start, was bumped when leaving the post and wheeled. Scratched— 361292Geo. THISTLE FYRN made the pace fast and held her stable-mate safe to the stretch turn, then drew away to win by a safe margin under good riding from near the end. JACK. HASKELL, saved for the first three-quarters, responded to hard riding, closed up much ground and outfinished the not hard ridden LANE ALLEN. The latter, after racing on the outside of the leader, came on the inside in the stretch and was not hard ridden from near the end. STAMPDALE gained on the leaders when approaching the far turn, but tired. GOLDEN TRAIL was done after racing close up for the three-quarters. The others raced poorly. The latter, a forward factor all the way. raced into the lead on the inside when entering the stretch and continued well to the finish. LANN1E was hard hustled to take the lead midway of the back 6tretch, but ran out badly rounding the stretch turn. ENGADINE closed considerable ground in the last quarter. PEARLIES GIRLIE tired. The latter raced close up throughout and. racing on the inside in the stretch, held on gamely. ERIN GO BRAGH closed ground rapidly in the stretch and got up to nose out JOHN J. S. The latter made a bold bid on the outside near the last eighth and took a slight lead, but gave way steadily in the final seventy yards. EDWARD GRAY was prominent for the first half mile, then raced poorly thereafter.
