The latter raced in close quarters much of the first quarter and then lost ground while following t lose up and made a game fiirsh. but could not wear down the winner. THE SHOW OFF swerved badly while working his way up TUB SOUTHERNER finished fast. MAUY McCLAIN suffered from crowding. WHISK ARKOW met inter-fen nee in the stretch.
