KENITCKY LAI took the lead without effort soon after the start, wag steadied along in front and. being shaken up when challenged, was unable to match the winners challenge. THE TOP, away well, dropped bark immediately, was slow to get into his best stride, but closed with good speed througout the final stages. MARGARET HELEN raced evenly. CHIPPEWA had no excuses.
